DEGREE COMPARABILITY
by CREDENTIAL EVALUATION (DCCE)
Our Degree Comparability by Credential Evaluation (DCCE) service focuses on obtaining an Academic Report. This report is designed to provide an evaluation of your foreign education in comparison to the US educational system. This evaluation is made by an accredited agency and can be requested by universities and employers.
THE OUTCOME OF THE EVALUATION MAY REFLECT:
1- American Academic Credits:
The US credit system is different from the one used in Europe (ECTS) or any other country. Therefore, your credits will need to be converted/transferred into the American Academic Credit.
The number of American Academic Credits is critical to determine the American Degree and the GPA.
2- GPA score (Grade Point Average):
The GPA is a scale ( usually from 1 to 4 ) that indicates the average of your grades through the entirety of your degree. Therefore, the calculation of the GPA is crucial to determine if you meet the requirements of your program. Universities ( if you wish to pursue a post graduate program : Master’s ,
PhD….) and Employers will ask you to submit it.
3- American Degree:
Based on the analysis of your transcripts you may be entitled to an American Degree (Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, Master Degree ….). Universities (if you wish to pursue a post graduate program: Master’s, PhD…) and Employers will ask you to submit it.
QUALIFYING APPLICANTS:
At this time, our DCCE services are only intended for nurses.
Acquiring the Academic report is an important step of your US journey. It will be necessary if you wishes to pursue your studies in an American university or college, and your future employer might require it as well.
